WHY THE APP

The browser version steers by dragging your finger. Tilt steering needs the motion sensor, and Chrome blocks that on many phones with no way for the page to ask for it.

This app reads the sensor itself, so leaning the phone left and right just works. The game is built in, so it also runs with no connection.

INSTALLING

1. Tap Download the APK above.
2. Open the downloaded file. Android will warn that it came from outside the Play Store — choose Settings and allow installs from your browser, then go back.
3. Tap Install, then open Slingwing.
4. Fling the bird, then lean the phone while it is in the air.
